Someone FINALLY reached their DueDate!!!

11 weeks and 4 days ago our little Lewis was born, weighing a mere 2 lbs. 14 oz!  After spending 2 months in the NICU he finally came home, still acting very much like a little preemie.  But today he's a hunkin 8 lbs. 8 oz, and just as normal and precious as any newborn baby!! As he lays here with me while I blog, he's coos and sings to me, telling me how happy he is to be home :)

Last NICU days

Home Sweet Home

It's been 2 weeks and a day now since we brought our little man home!!!!! I thought that day would never come :) The Doctor told us 2 times we were going and I would pack up, only for Lewis to have another spell, and need to stay a little while longer.  Finally the Doctor decided to send us home with an apnea monitor.  It's super loud and gives me a heart attack every time it goes off, but I'm so glad I don't have to sit around wondering if he's breathing or not.  He has only had 3 spells, but the monitor likes to go off all the time all on it's own :)   He has officially, as of today, finally graduated from preemie clothes to newborn!!  Last time he was weighed, 2 Wednesdays ago he was 6 lbs. 14 oz and 19 inches long.
I hope y'all enjoy all the pictures!!  There's quite a few :) I might have gotton a little carried away!LOL!

First day home!!!!

Words cannot express how ecstatic, greatful, thankful, happy, overjoyed I am to have my son home at last!!

Praise the LORD! He has brought our precious son home to us, perfectly healthy and growing wonderfully!
